Then, all the ingredients were mixed together in End Runner and continuously levigated with Gomutra for 6hrs. Gumacacia was added in amount of 10% (w/w) of the mixture. Granules were prepared from this mixture by adding Q.S. water. Dried granules were taken into Tablet making machine to prepare Sanjivani Vati Tablet (125mg) each. The prepared Sanjivani Vati was analyzed for organoleptic, physico-chemical and phytochemical parameters as per Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India. Result: Prepared Vati was hard, round shaped having characteristic smell of Gomutra. Weight loss was 69g due to the sticking of granules and binding agent. 11.87 % loss in weight of Vati was obtained. Organoleptic, physico-chemical and phytochemical parameters showed the characteristics features as well as present chemical components in it. Conclusion: Sanjivani Vati is first time mentioned in Sharangadhara Samhita which is indicated in diseases like Ajirna, Gulma, Visuchika, Sarpadansha and Sannipataka Jwara. The Preparation methods and their analytical values reveal the adopting method for Sanjivani Vati. So, this study can be used as a base for preparing Sanjivani Vati on large scale production.
